The applicable warranty period begins from the date of purchase, delivery, or installation, whichever is later, for each relevant product (hereinafter referred to as “Product”) under the categories of Normal Household Use Only and Commercial Use Only. During the applicable warranty period, Esquire Electronics Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “We”, “Us”, and “Our”) will provide, free of charge, labor, transportation, and/or replacement parts necessary to repair or replace the product specified under the warranty card (“Product”) due to defects in material or manufacturing faults, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.

This limited local warranty (“this warranty”) does not cover minor imperfections in products that meet design specifications or imperfections that do not materially affect functionality. We make no guarantees regarding satisfaction, performance, error-free operation, or any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, performance, use, or merchantability. Such warranties, whether statutory, common law, or otherwise, are excluded to the maximum extent permissible by applicable laws.

Service Availability:

• Time for Service: Service will be available during Our operation hours.
• Place of Service: Service will be provided on-site or at Our Customer Service Center, depending on the type of warranty covering the Product.
• Product warranty may vary by country. This warranty is only applicable to Products purchased from Our authorized dealers and retailers in Bangladesh. The Product, when covered under this warranty, shall include only its original configuration, design, or specifications. Coverage does not apply to consumables, non-functional parts, or accessories used in conjunction with or to enhance the performance of the covered Product.

Eligibility For Coverage:

To be eligible for warranty coverage:

1. You must present the warranty card that came with the product; and/or
2. You must provide valid proof of purchase when required.

Please note that Products not registered following these terms and conditions, or those with altered or illegible proof of purchase, shall be considered outside the scope of this warranty.

Reporting Defects:

Any missing parts, faults, or defects that do not conform to the sales contract, invoice, or packaging (“Defects”) and can be reasonably discovered through visual inspection on the date of purchase or immediately thereafter must be reported within seven (7) days of the date of purchase. Claims relating to such defects must be supported in writing and processed through the authorized distributor or retailer where the Product was purchased.

Exclusions From Coverage:

This warranty does not cover – 

• Products purchased outside Bangladesh.
• Damage, faults, or failures due to alterations or repairs made by anyone other than Us, or the use of supplies and accessories not manufactured by Us.
• Damage, faults, or failures due to causes beyond Our control, including but not limited to:

1. Operator negligence
2. Improper installation
3. Damage caused by spillage of food/liquids
4. Incorrect use of electrical supply and voltage
5. Abnormal voltage, excessive heat, dust, corrosive surroundings, or chemical reactions
6. Failure to maintain the Product or failure to follow the Product’s operating instructions
7. Accidents, mishandling, misuse, tampering, vandalism, theft, fire, lightning, floods, power failure, static, wear and tear, pests, vermin, and acts of God

• Damage due to software issues, viruses, electrical wiring problems, or local reception issues.
• Damage from improper transportation, storage conditions, ventilation, or movement of the Product.
• Damage caused during installation, assembly, relocation, removal, or routine maintenance.
• Non-failure problems such as reception or incompatibility issues, battery changes, periodic check-ups, cleaning, or other similar issues.
• Products where the serial number is removed, defaced, or made illegible, or products purchased from unauthorized dealers or retailers.
• Cosmetic defects, reduced functionality, or limitations in Products marked as second-hand, “Used”, “Refurbished”, “Open Set”, or “Display Sets.”
• Any misuse or abuse of the Product that is inconsistent with the design or intended use.

Special Conditions:

• Installation Safety: For high-rise buildings or risky places, if an AC unit is installed at the customer’s request, after-sales service or maintenance will require safe working conditions. Customers must ensure proper access and safety standards for the service team. Otherwise, the customer will be liable for any accidents.
• Accessories: Items such as remote controls, chargers, glass parts, and installation materials (e.g., copper pipes, base plates) are not covered by the warranty. If any of these items fail, the customer will be responsible for the respective costs.

Limitations Of Liability:

To the maximum extent possible under applicable laws, Esquire Electronics Ltd (including its affiliates, agents, and contractors) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage, lost time, loss of use, loss of data, or delays in servicing.

The defective Products or parts covered under this warranty will be repaired, replaced, or exchanged (with new or refurbished products, units, parts, or subassemblies) at Our sole discretion, free of charge. Repaired, replaced, or exchanged products will continue to be under warranty for the remaining warranty period, but for at least thirty (30) days.

Miscellaneous:

• This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser, as named in the warranty card, and is valid for the specified installation location.
• We reserve the right to vary or refuse coverage for Products marked as “End-of-Line” or “Clearance.”
• We reserve the right to modify or change the terms and conditions of this warranty without prior notice, due to changes in services, products, spare parts, or compliance with applicable laws.
• None of Our employees, distributors, dealers, retailers, contractors, or agents have the authority to vary or amend any of the terms and conditions of this warranty.

Governing Law:

This warranty is governed by the laws of Bangladesh and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
